Twenty Rotarians shared an enjoyable lunch at Maroochydore State High School last week.
Thanks to the Social Committee for organising this. Plans are also being made for dinner
after Telling Stories on 27 October and Ratna will be providing another social occasion
accompanied by his famous Nepalese dishes on 8 November. Our Christmas break-up lunch
is in the calendar for 13 December at the Loose Goose, Twin Waters. A great effort by the
Social Club ensuring many opportunities for Club members to get together socially.

Greig Lee-Archer last week spoke of two Renouf Cluster projects:

Following the west Queensland foods Tex Pipke from Eumundi Rotary contacted Blaze Aid
and offered the assistance of Rotarians. Five clubs assisted at Quilpie with cooking of food
for workers and erecting new fencing on devasted farms. Rotarians and partners from
Buderim Rotary Club will present to our club on 13 October.

Maroochydore Neighbourhood Centre, which is on land and a building owned by the Council
have a long-term lease. The Centre can be viewed at maroochync.org.au Renovations of the
property are being championed by Alexandra Headland, assisted by Buderim Club. Alex
would be keen for Mooloolaba members to be involved. Please contact Wendy Gilson
